Isaac Espósto is originally from San Rafael and Péta Lúuma (Petaluma), California - Coast Miwok and Southern Pomo lands - and up currently resided in Cuk Ṣon (Tucson), Arizona. After receiving their MFA in Poetry at the University of Arizona, they joined the Gender, Women, Sexuality Studies department where their research focuses on the intersection between Border violence, settler colonial architecture, Queer/Trans* studies, and the poetics of liberation.
