Fellowships & Student Funding

ICGC Fellowships

ICGC offers fellowships that provide financial support for graduate students who are clearly committed to the interdisciplinary study of the Global South in the context of global change.

Grants for Current Scholars

ICGC offers predissertation grants, international internship grants, conference grants, and research year fellowship grants.

Joseph E. Schwartzberg Workable World Trust Fellowship

The Joseph E. Schwartzberg Workable World Trust Fellowships support outstanding students who are clearly committed to global governance.

Interdisciplinary Doctoral Fellowships

The Interdisciplinary Doctoral Fellowships support outstanding Graduate School students whose dissertation topic is interdisciplinary and who would benefit from interaction with ICGC faculty.

These organizations can provide additional support, including grant funding.

ICGC Scholars Funding Proposals Digital Library

This site contains a digital repository of successful or semi-finalist proposals for different types of funding both internal and external to the University of Minnesota. All shared documents are only accessible to current ICGC scholars.
