Sheetal is joining University of Minnesota as a graduate student in Comparative and International Development Education. She is from Manipur a northeastern state of India. She has a B.A. in Political Science from University of Delhi, a master's (M.A.) in Social Work from Jamia Millia Islamia, and a master's (M.S.) in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University. Sheetal has transdisciplinary research interest and is engaged in promoting gender equality through education.
