Sarah Flamon is an accomplished development practitioner with over 12 years of leadership in international and local development, specializing in community-driven interventions, educational scaling, socioeconomic empowerment, employability, and child protection.
Throughout her career, she has built and sustained multi-stakeholder partnerships with major international entities, including Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Egypt, Japan Tobacco International (JTI), Rotary International, and the International Labour Organization (ILO). At Manara NGO, Sarah supervised the establishment of 12 community centers offering educational and vocational programs—providing equitable learning for children and adults, while improving livelihoods for women and youth.
Driven by a commitment to sustainable impact, Sarah focuses on designing and implementing data-driven, evidence-based interventions. She is passionate about bridging the gap between field-level realities and strategic program design—ensuring that development initiatives are guided by rigorous evidence and genuine community needs rather than donors priorities alone.
A candidate in the 2026 European Union Visitors Programme (EUVP), Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Postgraduate Diploma in Local Development and Human Rights from the Catholic University of Lyon, France.
