Rebekah Montgomery

Rebekah Montgomery graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science in engineering. I spent the last twenty-one years as an Air Force pilot and officer, most recently in Germany and Turkey. In this time, I accumulated a wide variety of experiences that have given me insights into capabilities development and international cooperation, especially in the realm of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief. In my personal time, I have been involved with numerous organizations tackling global issues and I have sought to better understand sustainable development through reading and learning from experts. Having recently retired from the military and moved back to Minnesota, I am looking forward to focused study in development practice to make me more effective in my next career in the non-profit sector. I am particularly interested in working with immigrants, refugees, and displaced persons and working with communities to better capitalize on their resident capabilities through more sustainable and inclusive practices.
