Oumarou is a bilingual French- and English-speaking professional with a background in renewable energy business development, education, non-profit management, and sustainability. With extensive experience building from the ground up renewable energy educational non-profit as well as sustainability focused community development project management, both focused on locally driven solutions that strengthen livelihoods, drive human capital development, and provide agency for communities. His commitment to impact led to his selection to represent Niger at the One Young World Summit 2024 in Canada. Now pursuing a Master of Development Practice at the University of Minnesota, he aims to bridge business and sustainable development by integrating climate action, ESG principles, and sustainability into strategies that create lasting social and environmental impact.
