Michael Soto

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at the University of Minnesota and fellow at the Interdisciplinary Center for Global Change (ICGC). My Ph.D. dissertation is titled, "The Role of Social Networks in Memory Formation and the Social Reintegration of Ex-combatants." My research focuses on Colombia, with a comparative component on Northern Ireland. I have a M.A. in Anthropology of Development and Social Transformation from the University of Sussex, a M.A. in Sociology from the University of Minnesota, and a B.A. in Development in Latin America from Harvard University.
