Nasema Zeerak

Nasema Zeerak is a doctoral candidate at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota. Her research centers on anti- and decolonial modes of being and knowing, with Afghanistan as her point of departure. Her dissertation interrogates dominant discourses and power/knowledge formations to unsettle epistemic hierarchies and open space for alternative possibilities of political thought and practice.

Nasema is in residence with ICGC during the 2025-26 academic year.
