Mubanga Kalimamukwento is a Zambian attorney, editor and writer. She has a bachelor's and master's degree in law and a master's in fine arts. In her Ph.D., Mubanga seeks to understand the relationship between Christianity, access to justice, culture and the prevalence of AIDS among married women in Zambia between 1984 and 2004. Her work has also appeared in adda, Aster(ix), Overland, Contemporary Verse 2, The Killens Review of Arts and Letters, and on Netflix among others. She is the founding editor and editor-in-chief of Ubwali Literary Magazine.
