Mridul Debnath

I was born and raised in Bangladesh. I achieved my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. Following that, I started my professional career in a nonprofit microfinance organization where my prime responsibility was to operate the microcredit program and to monitor the progress of development works in health, education, sanitation, and agriculture sector portfolios. Belonging to a developing country, the continuous battle of communities against social problems haunt me intensely on my thoughts which triggered me to pursue a higher degree leading to the development field. I am excited to be a part of the MDP program and I do believe that it would create an exceptional edge in my career and enable me to improve my skill to contribute to the development sector globally.
