Monica Guendy

Coming from Egypt, Monica got her degree from Cairo University with a major in economics and a minor in political science. She has been working in the development field since 2019, building expertise in research, consulting, project management and governmental affairs. Over the years she developed interest in the topics of education, employment, entrepreneurship and women empowerment. Her most recent role in the Egyptian Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and working closely with the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), has directed her focus towards evidence-based policies, efficient program design and impact evaluation. Starting her MDP, she looks forward to becoming a more effective development practitioner, capable of addressing global, national and local challenges.
