Hania Khan

Ms. Hania Khan holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science, with an emphasis on Gender Studies, having been a Gender Studies Major in the United States of America as a UGRAD scholar. She graduated with the highest cGPA in her Sociology class. Hania has worked at multiple policy-centric organisations such as Lok Sujag/SAAR Digital and Asma Jahangir Legal Aid Cell, a people-centric digital media house. As the Program Officer, she has spearheaded various initiatives and projects aimed at promoting civic knowledge and social awareness. Her collaborative efforts include significant work with organisations such as the United States Institute of Peace, Community World Service Asia, and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. She is also the founder and Director of E-Learning at Sujag Academy, a platform dedicated to enhancing civic knowledge. Under her leadership, Sujag Academy has developed multiple courses focusing on electoral knowledge, religious inclusion, gender sensitivity, and climate change. Hania has effectively bridged the gap between academic knowledge and practical application, consistently translating classroom learning into real-world contexts. Before graduating, she volunteered as a teacher at a welfare school in her hometown of Dera Ghazi Khan and conducted primary field interviews of female educators for a women literacy program, among other projects.
