The 2025 ICGC Scholars, the 37th cohort, had orientation the last week of August and will be formally welcomed into the community next Friday, September 12 at the Annual ICGC Fall Welcome Dinner.

The nine new scholars—each from different departments within four colleges and schools at the UMN—come from countries including India, Afghanistan, Brazil, Turkey, Pakistan, Taiwan and the United States. We will also welcome four Interdisciplinary Doctoral Fellows to be in residence with ICGC during the 2025-26 academic year, and a visiting scholar from the University of Brasília. We are excited to bring their energy, knowledge and voices for issues of social justice and global change to the University of Minnesota.
