New York based Chilean artist María Verónica San Martín will present her ongoing projects which explore the impacts of history, memory, and trauma through prints, artist books, installation, sculpture, and performance. Her work addresses memory as a pivotal factor for the understanding of the neoliberal, globalized present, turning to the subject matter of the Chilean dictatorship’s violence from the 70s to the 90s, vis-à-vis the United States and Nazism’s involvement in that violence.
